My Review For Crumbs Bake Shop In New York

On my recent trip to New York, I will NEVER forget this cute little bake shop I went to called Crumbs.  My husband and I found it unexpectedly as we were walking along the busy streets.  We decided to check it out and we decided to share a cupcake since they were huge.  Looking back now I wish we had gotten two.  We could have saved it for later and also would have gotten to try a different flavor.

As you go in,  people are sitting enjoying their cupcakes, chatting with one another.  It's a small place but I felt comfortable.  Staff was friendly which is always a pleasant experience to have for your first time visit.

The cupcakes looked phenomenal and scrumptious.  I thought it was terrific of them to include the calorie count by the flavor of cupcake.  Not that it mattered because I was on vacation, but it was certainly good to know.  I heard from a friend that they have a gluten free selection.  I did not see it, maybe because I was just in a trance with those delicious cupcakes in my sight.  I would have wanted to tried a gluten free cupcake if I would have known since I'm getting into all that gluten free stuff.

We tried the Monkey Business cupcake.  Man oh man, how can I describe this to you? Hmmm...it was plain amazing and I was in Heaven lol.  The cupcakes are sooo moist, full of flavor.  In the middle there was a little cream cheese surprise filling.  It had toffee sprinkles on the top and the flavor was of banana. The pic on the right shows you it got a little smashed but before it was put in this container it looked beautiful.  We didn't care, it was still so so good.

Bottom line, you have to try Crumbs Bake Shop if you are ever in New York City area.  It's Devine.  Good staff, decent price, good cupcakes, great location and atmosphere.  It's so worth the try. :)
